The unincorporated community of Edgemoor is located in northern New Castle County along the Delaware River approximately one mile north of the City of Wilmington. It has a population of 2,050 people living in an area consisting of approximately .24 square miles. It is considered to be within Delaware’s U.S. Census Tract 700. As the map below shows, the area is bounded by River Road on the north, on the south by Governor Printz Boulevard, by North Stuyvesant Drive to the west and to the east by Haines Avenue.
