The
Tioga neighborhood of Philadelphia is an area that is located approximately
three and one half miles north of Center City in Upper North Philadelphia.
The Tioga community boundaries extend from the west side of Broad
Street to the east side of 24th street and from the south side of
Erie Avenue to the north side of Allegheny Avenue. The population
of the Tioga neighborhood was 13,391 in 2000.
